Infectious diseases are illnesses caused by the spread of microorganisms (bacteria, viruses, fungi or parasites) or prions to humans from other humans, animals or the environment, including food and water..

We offer treatment for following conditions at our tertiary care centre:

  • Community acquired infections like upper respiratory infections, pneumonia, urinary tract infections, brain infections, etc.
  • Covid 19 Infection
  • HIV and AIDS - Human immunodeficiency virus infection and acquired immune deficiency syndrome
  • Hospital acquired infections, post-surgical infections
  • Infections in cancer patients
  • Infections in organ transplant recipients
  • Opportunistic fungal infections like candidiasis, aspergillosis, and mucormycosis in immuno-compromized patients
  • Pulmonary and extra pulmonary tuberculosis, including MDR (Multi-drug resistant) and XDR (Extensively drug-resistant) TB
  • Swine Flu

We also practice antimicrobial stewardship programme at our hospital. Immunization as advised by our consultant ensures safety against a number of life threatening infections.
